How to Find Lost CNAME Record in Blogger

If you are renewing a custom domain name in the new Blogger interface, you will notice that the CNAME and hostname will not be displayed. If you lost your CNAME Record or Hostname, then follow the steps below to find your records.

Note: To follow these steps, make sure that your website is added to the Google Search Console tool.

Among the websites hosted on Blogger, the First CNAME record is ghs.google.com.

1) Go to Google and search for Google Webmaster Verification Tool.

2) After clicking on a tool, you will be prompt to the website that you have created and added to the Google Search Console.

3) Select the domain name and click on the verification link beside the name of the website.

4) Click on the DNS CNAME record

5) After that, you will have your CNAME Record 2. You can copy the name and paste it to the domain name website.
