A missing or outdated driver might be the cause of a slow computer; thus you may need to update your driver to make your computer work as quickly as the new one. To accomplish this, follow the steps outlined below.
How to Update the Driver in Windows 10/11
There are two methods for updating your computer's drivers. The first method is manual, in which you must verify each driver on your computer to see whether it is up to date or not, and the second method is automated, in which you only require software to download the drivers automatically. You can follow one of them as you wish.
So let's see how you can update the drivers manually.
First Method (Manual Method)
1. From your desktop, go to the start menu and type device manager into the search box.
2. After opening the device manager, you'll see a list of all the devices linked to your device; left-click on the first item, which is most likely your computer.
3. Right-click on any device you want to update the driver for, then choose Properties.
4. When you select the properties option, you'll see all of the device's and driver's details.
5. Go to Google and type in "device name" and "driver" in the search box (Intel Chipset G41, "Driver").
6. Then you'll see the Google results, pick the first one, and then download the driver.
7. Click the next button to complete the download, but read the agreement carefully before installing. I'm sure you won't read it.
8. Then, return to the device manager, left-click on the device you downloaded the driver for, and select the My Browse Driver option, then upload the driver you downloaded.
Done!
This may be convenient for individuals with one driver to update, but it is inconvenient for those who are unsure which driver should be updated for which devices.
So for you, there is a second method, which is quite easier than the first one.
Second Method (For Lazy and Newbie)
1) Launch Chrome and search for "driver booster"
2) Purchase their pro plan, which costs only $22 per year and can be used on three computers.
3) Install it on your computer, run the test, and then click the update button to update all of your drivers. That's all.
You will never have to worry about upgrading drivers again using Driver Booster. Scan, and it will download the most recent driver for your PC.
You may be wondering why I may choose the driver easy free plan. You can, however, on the free plan, you will have to manually download all of the drivers, since it will only show the outdated or missing drivers.
Although you can download it manually, it will take time and the driver you obtain from the internet may have viruses that can destroy your computer, so the choice is yours because it is just cost 22$ for a year and you can use it on 3 computers, which is a very good deal.

Extra Method
This method works, but it does not always work, so you can experiment to see whether it works for you. And I think you're well aware of this, but still try this method.
1) From your desktop, go to the start menu and search for device manager.
2) After you open the device manager, you'll see a list of all the devices that are attached to your machine; left-click on the first item, which is most likely your computer or other device that needs to be updated.
3) Next, select the Update Software Driver option.
4) Select Automatically search for updated drivers.
5) It will then immediately download the driver for your machine.
In most circumstances, it just indicates that your driver is up to current, but it is not. In certain circumstances, the driver is really updated. To prevent this issue, I recommend using the alternative ways indicated above.
