How to Disable or Enable Restricted Mode on YouTube

How to Disable or Enable Restricted Mode on YouTube

Would you like to know how to enable or disable the Restricted Mode option of YouTube, but can't seem to find it?

You can find the answer to your question in this article.

YouTube is a very popular video sharing platform that many of us access every day. Oberlo reports that YouTube is watched for 1 billion hours a day, so we can conclude that YouTube is actively used every day. It is likely that you also watch YouTube every day. I have no doubt that you are using the app. Tell me in the comment section how many hours you spend watching YouTube.

However, the problem is not you using YouTube, it is tiny children using it. Statista reports that 77% of 15- 25-year-olds use YouTube. However, there is another issue, which is the use of YouTube by children under 15 years old.

Therefore, if your children are watching YouTube videos, they might be exposed to inappropriate content that isn't suitable for them. However, you cannot stop them, so what can you do? However, YouTube does not allow them to use it since it restricts it to under-13-year-olds. The age group below 13 uses YouTube as well, and you will ask me how that works through family accounts, such as their parents. There is no data on this in the statistics.

You can use YouTube's Restricted Mode feature to filter videos that might harm your children.

Alternatively, if you're an adult, and you accidentally enabled restricted mode, you can read this article to disable it.
